Our Story
Years ago in a little village in the Netherlands, a homeopathic doctor felt for her patients who were struggling to get a good night sleep.
She wanted to help and began the journey that is Sambrosa. Using her homeopathic knowledge about herbs, she set about making a product that works to help people sleep adding 7 different organic herbs in a base of honey. When she did, Sambrosa went from a dream to a reality.
Before long Sambrosa was a fixture on night stands all over the country, and soon all over the world.
In the years since, Sambrosa has taken on many fans. This includes one Canadian family who was so satisfied with the product’s ability to help their child sleep that they purchased the company.
They expanded the company beyond the Netherlands to provide help for others in need. In this process, family has remained a core value: the homeopathic’s daughter Suzanne is Sambrosa’s number one ambassador in the USA and the owners son Jeff is our main sales guy in the USA and Canada.
The Sambrosa dream remains alive and well. Sambrosa works as well now as it did at the beginning. Our number one commitment is, and always will be, a product that helps you balance your life and wake up to a sunnier day.

Giving Back
Our team came across the non-profit Humanity Del Sol when we met the founder Mariagrazia Lauricella. As she shared her story and her vision of hope and a brighter tomorrow for orphans, the Sambrosa team decided to support Humanity Del Sol in their powerful mission.
Humanity Del Sol (HDS) focuses on youth in transition from orphanages in Argentina. They are from the ages of 18 to 25 years. At the age of 18, this sector of youth is no longer supported by the government. Mariagrazia recognized the need to empower, equip and encourage this group into a life on their own. Through skill-based education, post-trauma therapy, job training and placement, a whole generation of orphans, also known as abandoned youth, are finding their purpose. Despite the difficulties of their past, these youth are an example of remarkable resilience. We love and are honored to support them in their journey.
